Inspiration struck! I'm putting these tops together with their backs and bindings and I hadn't made any for the Bright Thrift/Elephant border and I thought about those pieces I had to trim out of the repeat... Score! I usually make bias binding but some straight grain isn't going to hurt this at all. Since I had to trim down the pieces, I did it randomly and then deliberately turned every other one upside down so didn't do a super obsessive binding... but I admit, if the piece folded better I probably would have.
