Hi everyone,

I'm new here! Looking for some insights from all of you experienced folks!

I just acquired a singer 99k (around 1930s I believe) and the wooden handle part of the hand crank seems fixed to the shaft. It does not rotate. Is this normal, or should I be looking to feed some light machine oil on either side to see if that will ease the seizure?
