I don't have either machine, but I agree with you that there should be no bouncing of the machine if you have a good quality frame and a carriage that fits well. Isn't the throat on the Jazz a lot bigger than on the Pfaff? That would be the deciding factor to me. But if you're worried about it, perhaps you could check with Babylock?
