You have a 99k, hand crank machine. The
serial number was allocated in December of 1947, so may not have been actually manufactured until 1948. There is a manual for a later 99 machine at
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/15...-Class-99.html It is for an electric machine (but has instructions for hand crank), with reverse stitch length and numbered tension dial. But, the oiling and threading would be the same. You will want to oil it with sewing machine oil. You can also wipe it down with sewing machine oil, so that you don't ruin the decals.
It appears that it would take a tap-in spool pin number 2007. Your machine would have originally taken a metal spool pin, but a plastic one would work. As indicated on
