IceLeopard explained in her first post #14 about the quilt block sizes.
If you are making the small size, then they will finish at 3 inches - 3.5 inches unfinished (your square up size before sewing into the final quilt.)
The queen size blocks are 5 inch finished - 5.5 inches unfinished, squared up size.
