Nanna-up-north, after having worked so hard and so long I know you are excited to be able to see the finish line right up the final stretch. I can't wait to get to that point, but I still have months of work to do before then.

You mentioned hand quilting your LBB and I think that would be amazing, but I gave up hand quilting years ago and I don't see that as an option for me. First off I was never really all that good at hand quilting and secondly I don't think my hands and wrist would hold up to that big a project. My hands are already starting to feel the effects of so much needle work, but as long as they don't outlaw Tylenol (and with an occasional gin and tonic) I should be able to keep going. So for me it will be machine quilted on my trusty little Janome. Maybe not as impressive as if I sent it to a long arm quilter but I will have fun quilting it.

Looking forward to seeing more of your progress, your work is so beautiful.
