Back when ground turkey came out and it was cheap! I used a lot of it in a lot of different ways. One of my favorites that didn't necessarily go over well with others was I'd make rather highly spiced meatballs served with a yellow curry sauce. Usually would have some raisins or nuts or things like that along with it, served over rice.

My father's side of the family is Czech and made similar pierogi to this

So sometimes I'd do the pierogi stuffed with the turkey mixture and served with additional sauce.

Nowadays I have Sriracha and coconut milk as pantry items, think I'd look at it with Thai flavors and a peanut sauce!

Pretty much all cultures had some sort of dumpling, you can take whatever inside you want and wrap it in whatever outside and chances are you'll like it. LOL, especially if you can deep fry it.
