My machines just tell me the bobbin is getting low, but a stitch count would be a super idea.
add info: To add that I have adjusted the sensor light on my bobbin so that it doesn't alert me until it is near empty. It seems almost all machines warn far too early-sometimes the bobbin is still half full.
