I'm curious did you put fabric on the mat and then iron the freezer paper on? I think that is way you meant. I suppose you could put the freezer paper on the mat and the fabric on top. Do you cut fabric and paper to fit the printer after they are stuck together?

I was impressed by pressing seams, just over a piece of wool fabric on a padded wood board.
