i didn’t know there is a specific bobbin I have to get. I have just now ordered some from EBay, will try when they arrive if the problem will be solved

First off, looks like the wrong bobbin. My 201 bobbin is slightly rounded on both sides.
Also check your needle is in the correct way. I had mine in wrong one day and it wouldn't pick up. easy tip, the curved part of your needle matches the curve if the plate under it.
Hope this fixes it. A 201 is a great machine.
