happylab--I think batiks would be very pretty for these blocks. There are a couple different options for making the blocks. I personally am going to paper piece mine. Have you done any paper piecing before? Otherwise there are templates and rotary cutting instructions too. Hopefully your book will arrive sooner than later! Mine came in just a couple days, I was very surprised since shipping for everything has been delayed the last couple months!!
For others who have ordered books...will they be arriving by the 6th? If not we could put off starting until the following week??
I ordered a Kansas Troubles FQ bundle that will be here next week. I am going to start printing papers this weekend and get them cut out. I like measure the patterns and pre-cut/bag fabrics for several blocks at a time so then when I have time I can just sew.
