If you go directly to the EQ8 site itself, you'll be able to glean a lot of information about the changes, especially from EQ7 to EQ8. I have recently purchased EQ8 myself and am still studying and trying my hand at simpler things. It's quite impressive.

Based on my limited experience, I'd highly recommend going right to EQ8, then you won't have to "unlearn" anything and you'll have the latest and greatest.

The EQ site is a wealth of information and if you get on their list, you'll receive their newsletters, tips and tricks, free tutorials (written and video with lots of screen visuals). Go to:
