Cathy, she has always liked the fiber arts. She is active in Medieval Recreation and has learned three ways to weave, how to spin using a drop spinal, how to knit, crochet, and sew. I begin teaching her how to sew when she was 4 ( she made a tote bag by hand stitching using the running stitch) At 5 she was given a Simplicity Sew Precious sewing machine and made another tote bag to learn how to use her machine. At 6 she made a pair of shorts. She has stated that her next project is to learn lace making ( all styles :D) She has declared herself as a "Fiber Arts Specialist" ha ha
