I'm happy to see that another young granddaughter has a sewing machine! My 6 year old g.d. got one for Christmas, but it was a very cheap "imitation" of a sewing machine, so I bought her a low-end Brother. She hasn't made any quilts yet, but she's made her grown-up cousin a purse and her little sister a pair of shorts!!!

Awesome... it's nice to know that I'm not the only grandmother who believes in starting them young :D
I love your granddaughter's quilt, and for a great cause, too!!!
