I finally get to post pictures of a quilt I tested, for designer Brenda Plaster at

I have been waiting not so patiently to see it in my Connecting threads email. It is now available at

Brenda only requires me to purchase my own fabric so I usually end up with a totally different fabric line than what it was originally designed with, but it is good to see a pattern in other colors. After I finish it she very kindly quilts it for me and does an awesome job.
This is my version of Tumbling jacks that can be found at Connecting Threads. My DH picked the fabric for the cabin we will be building next year in WI.
I still need to get the binding on this one but the weather up here has been so warm that I have a hard time playing with fabric.
Hope you like the pattern as much as I did, it was a fun one to make, I learned a lot about how things get to the printed pattern and kit stage.
