That was my thought too. If one has two of something donate to a newbie. I inherited my stash and nearly all of my tools from my sister-in-law and didn't know what some of them were or how to use them. I kept them all and over time and as I matured as a quilter, I learned what they were and their purpose. There were a few duplicates so off to Goodwill they went. But it was such a blessing to start out with tools, some basic tools, and some that were a mystery until I really needed them. I am still blessed by her purchases.
