As long as the cutter cuts at least 36.0 inches (straight across), I will not complain. I do re-measure my fabrics when I get home. I am happier with "more" extra than less, but I do not expect to get "more" when I buy produce or meat.

I expect some shrinkage when buying fabric, so I try to remember to factor that in when buying cottons. The only thing is, I do not know ahead of time if there will be more shrinkage widthwise or lengthwise. Usually, fabric shrinks more one way than the other.
