I have let my color choices determine if the quilt is more masculine or feminine. Deep greens and browns, tans and oranges are what usually draw my eye to the more masculine quilts. A few years ago I used the same block to make quilt for a grandson and granddaughter you would never know they were the same only difference was fabric choices.
