Irish Soda Bread
8 cups flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 T. caraway seeds
3 cups raisins
3 cups buttermilk
4 T. melted butter

Mix dry ingredients, add buttermilk & mix well. Form into oval or round loaves. Brush top of loaves with melted butter. Place on greased cookie sheet & bake at 350 deg. for approximately 1 hour. This is best when sliced & spread with butter and toasted in the broiler.
