I just finished this mini mosaic art quilt and I am so pleased with it. I was eager to try this after seeing Cheryl Lynch's mini mosaic technique on you tube. She sells lots of patterns for this as well.
I created my own pattern, as well as, cutting my tiles a little different then hers. It is 11.5" x 14" and I free motion stitched all the grout lines. The fabric is all hand painted using a gelli plate. I really can't wait to make more of these as it was so enjoyable for me. It is very tedious however, I really love small detail work so this is right up my alley!
