There are many differences as Macybaby said. There was someone on treadleon that did a pdf for the top clamping feet dimensions. I found it on http://www.treadleon.net/library/index.html and the direct link is http://www.treadleon.net/library/topclampingfeet.pdf My New National has the thicker straight stitch foot, but the attachments that came with it were thinner. I haven't tried the thinner ones, but I think that they were a little loose. I should try them sometime. I may try to find something to shim the other attachments to make the same dimension.
