There are no real instructions, just full-sized drawings of the blocks. You come up with your own pattern, either pieced or paper pieced. I have made quite a few blocks from Nearly Insane and Just Plain Nuts, both by Liz Lois. Love the challenge... once in a while. Have never made either of the whole quilts.
