I use a 10" piece of elastic for each side, fold in half then push the folded end through a pony bead. Stitch the two ends into the mask. Lastly I take a 12" to 15" piece of twill tape and attach it to the small loop created by the bead for a neck strap.
Is there a pattern name or video available to watch on this mask? It looks like it would be great to make for the elementary school here. I have been making different styles of masks but this one with a bead seems it might be something kids could relate to.
