I’ve been so looking forward to The Toledo Museum of Art’s upcoming show Radical Tradition: American Quilts and Social Change starting November 21. It looks like an exciting exhibit, and I’m hoping I will be able to safely attend despite this pandemic.
Interestingly, as part of the exhibit, the Museum is inviting everyone to participate, in our own quilty way, to a Covid-19 Virtual Quilting Bee. Everyone ..... from far and wide ...... beginner to master artist ..... is encouraged to submit quilt blocks that reflect aspects of life during the pandemic. The blocks will be quilted together in an online photo gallery through the Museum’s social media platforms.
