ccbear66, I called the shop that sold me my machine. They had me troubleshoot. If the machine keeps running (wildly!) even after you unplug the foot control, the machine is the issue. If it stops, the foot control is bad. My foot control is on its way back to them. Back to the old Singer for a bit! :cry: I read online that there is a suppressor in the foot control that looks like a big fuse. Supposedly if you take that out, it fixes the "ghost" sewing. I was afraid to try it since I'm still under warranty. All I know is that I'm lucky I still have "unsewn" fingers! That baby was going FAST! LOL! I hope yours fixed itself, but if not, I thought I'd share what I learned today.
