I have that same board and clamp system in my long arm area and never use it--too hard to use (now I know why it was in our guild garage sale so cheap!). What I've done is use nice cording and hang a nice curtain rod from the 3 knobs on it and use clips to hand the quilts. I have curtain rods in 3 bedrooms and another one in the basement to hand quilts on.
