I use my embroidery machine to make my labels. I usually add the recipent(s) name up top, possibly a short bible verse, the year and my shortened name at the bottom. My labels are triangle. I start out with a square piece of fabric and fold it to make it triangle shaped after embroidery so it will get stitched down at the corner when I go to stitch the binding on. That leave only one edge I have to tack down by hand.
