I have a Bernina 770, I bought a generic ruler foot on Amazon and it works great! I have done some FMQ with it, but I prefer to use my #24, free motion open toe for that.
Don't be afraid of FMQ or ruler work, there's tons of YouTube videos out there, just practice and you will get it! It's actually easier than you think. Check out Cindy Needham site, she was giving free lessons when COVID was at it's worst. Cindy does amazing work and she is very generous with her knowledge.
