What is the advantage of having both a left and right hand cutter?

I noticed that the 45mm was on sale for $19.99 on the Martelli site - which is better - the 45mm or the 60mm?

Thanks - confused semi beginner quilter
It depends how many layers of fabric you usually cut. If more than 6 or so then you should use a 60 mm. If cutting curves a 45 mm will be easier to use.
