Apple Mash Vinegar & Boiled Cider
It's the end of apple season and I've just juiced the last of the apples. I have about 8 gallons of juice. Some will be made into vinegar, some I'll boil down into syrup, some we'll drink and all of the mash left over will go into a big, jar with water and a cup of last year's cider added to make apple mash vinegar. So cheap...I would have thrown the mash away otherwise.
