There is a quilter/author here in Seattle named Jera Brandvig who has 2 books on QAYG. I found her books at my library and the one titled QAYG Made Vintage has 3 different methods of doing QAYG. One is block to block with no sashing, one uses sashing on the front only and the 3rd uses sashing on front and back. I have don the sashing on front and back but not the other two. I did buy the Vintage quilt book as it has 51 block patterns, 9 quilt patterns and the joining methods. She has a facebook page and a website
