I know how you feel, I lived in NE Oregon, Ak. Maine and north Dakota, then moved south where I spent the coldest winter ever, huge old victorian house, when the ice storm hit, we had no power for over two weeks, all elec. house could not make a cup of coffee, and we had just moved there and did not know where to go to get a hot meal or coffee. I spent two weeks in bed under a bunch of quilts and both my cats were with me, only got up for pottie breaks. Nothing like that ever happened up north, and yes here we have a lot of fender benders when snow hits.
But on the really good side live close to Paducah and the quilt show , Handcocks of Paducah, and the Quilts museum. So looking forward to things back to where we can enjoy those lovely things in safety .
