I've lived in SoCal most of my life, but enjoyed going to the snow for cross country skiing. Then we moved to northern British Columbia for 4 years. I absolutely LOVED the snow. Of course I didn't have to clear it from a driveway to go to work every day, and except for caring for the horses there were few chores that needed to be done outside. DH cleared our 1/2 mile driveway with a 9 foot plow in front of the tractor (with a heated cab). And everyone in our part of BC knew how to drive in the snow, roads were plowed quickly, and it was just beautiful to look at. The only downside was early spring, when the snow melted before the ground thawed, and everything turned to mud. I would love to live where it snows again. Just another perspective...
