Doh moment!. I was starting to oil this beastie up. Lots of noise and drag just on the handwheel when it was disengaged from driving the innards Oiled port, front and rear gaps, Hit it again. Oh, the naked pulley for the bobbin winder tire was leaning against it. I moved that assembly and was a happy guy.

One interesting feature is the arm from the HC goes into a groove on the handwheel. No slack like the Singers have.

Oiled but not cleaned. Everything that is there appears to be working Oil holes on the top near the handwheel are drilled at angles.
