I agree that the system has to be out to be out available to use. I have the cubes on two shelves. They are easy to use. The other dies are stored in the AQ storage bins by shapes. There are some extra dies stored in a plastic bin.
Long strip dies are stored on one of the wire organizers and put inside this hamper. Labels on the top edge of each die so I can grab the right one.

If you have a local dealer, ask for a catalog. You can also down load one from the site. Put the sheets in page protectors.
I used small sticky dots from the office store. I put a dot on each size. Example: The 6 inch cube gets yellow dots, the 8 inch cube gets red dots. I can look at the sheets and tell what I have.
