I wandered back in here to say I bought an Ann Persons V75 free arm machine, made in Italy. It's gray and white. The free arm table part stows in the lid of the case. Somebody in the Vintage Japanese machine Facebook showed a Cortina that looks almost identical to mine except has darker gray and a very squared-off nose. She also posted an Amica, which was the search that linked me to this thread. Mine has the bobbin with holes on the side that goes into the bobbin case and is solid on the other side.
