My newest favorite vintage Singer
Actually, my favorite is usually whichever vintage Singer I am using at the time although nothing purrs like my 201. But I just really fell in love with my 401, fairly new to me and not used much. Oh my gosh! It's so fast! I think it rivals my 301. Who knew? I knew it was top of the line in its day but had no idea what a really awesome machine it is. I tend to gravitate to the much older machines so the 401 and rocketeer have been largely ignored. Silly me. I'm rambling but I get so excited about my machine collection, purring machines, beautiful stitches, gorgeous fabric - not to mention being housebound for ages and not being able to share my passion!!
