I have been working on a kitted UFO so using up fabric. In between, I have been making a block here and there that I have found while cruising this board, on Instagram, etc.. I made 2 of your wonky star blocks, oksewglad. If I make more, I either need to use smaller squares or use my 4" squares and bigger triangles. Lol! It's been a nice diversion to try something different. I found some FG from last year. We were learning to make 4 at a time at an open Friday night sew at the LQS. I brought fabric that wasn't to my liking for all of us to use to practice sewing and then we practiced using our Deb Tucker rulers to trim them. Guess what? I got all of the FG back! I now have them ready to sew to a center square and will choose corner squares as I go. When I put the FG and squares together, I forgot I needed corner squares until I realized the last 2 FG didn't fit. Geesh!
