I took a quilting class and when everyone was breezing through their cuts, I wanted to cry I was so darn bad at it. The Accuquilt system seemed perfect. I worry less about waste and will gladly waste a bit for accuracy.

I started with a Go ME for $50 on clearance. That got me hooked! Bought a used Go online and never looked back. Went to a thrift shop and hit the absolute jackpot - they had all the strip cutters except the 4" one for $20 each, plus the mats in really good condition. The owl die came with the Go ME. Since then, got the owl accessories, the nautical one, the crazy petals, log cabin, bear's paw, hunter's star, four of the Ricky Tims dies...I just love the intricate dies since they would be so hard to cut by hand.

The Accuquilt sales are excellent and I can find good deals used as well. The Tims dies and the 6" cube I bought were used and I paid a fraction of the price I would pay new. I REALLY want the cherry blossom die so keep an eye out for me y'all.
