Hey, thanks for your responses to my question about making the half square triangles 8 at a time without a speciality ruler. I think I'm getting it down now and these seem to be more accurate than any other method I've used. I'm glad to learn this and I may break down and buy one of those specialty rulers. Took me a while to get my scant quarter inch right. I bought a Janome 6600 years ago but used it strictly for quilting and continued to use my trusty old Kenmore for piecing till it conked out this year so piecing on the 6600 was different for me. Anyway, I'm happy to have this quilt to get my mind off everything else that's goin on!
