I agree on the Flynn frame. I bought it after I saw him demonstrating it at a big quilt show (remember those?) I put a baby quilt on it as a learning exercise. The baby is now 11 (!) and I just dismantled the thing and am going to try selling it on ebay.

I really tried on it, but, even with my Bernina stitch regulator, I could barely do a straight line, let alone anything interesting. I assume they work great for some people, but unfortunately not for me.
