I am joining late. Altho I did turn on my machine yesterday (it sat idle for a week as I took a break) and made a block for our Bag Ladies (like a BOM but we get someone else's bag each month and make a block for them out of their focus and background fabric. Eventually I will get my bag back with--hopefully--12 completed blocks)

I have a box of homespuns, some scraps, some larger pieces, that needs to get out of my house. I am planning on a couple of donation yellow brick road type tops. I have no idea on the age of the fabric, and since it seems to bother my allergies, I am going to wear a mask while working with it.

If you have any other hints or suggestions for working with this type of fabric, please pass them on.
