I use something similar to Rhonda K.
it's 24x48 and height adjustable.
it folds in the middle so i can take it with me when i'll be working away from home.

i made a portable pressing pad from foam-core, batting, silver ironing fabric, and aluminum foil (to block the moisture from steam pressing.) (i'm still figuring out how to make one that folds up neatly for transport.)
i can either flip that over or set it aside when i want to use a cutting mat.

Rhonda's table looks like it would be sturdier but i've never had any stability issues with the one i use.
