My cutting table is similar to that without the ironing board attachment. I do use it iron on as well but just place a folded towel on one end of the table and use it for pressing. Yesterday I actually used the entire table to iron a 2.5 yd piece of wide back fabric. Placed a thick, extra large beach towel on the table, used binder clips to hold it in place and it worked a charm. Normally, though, I just have a regular towel folded in half at one end and my cutting mat at the other. It does get a bit cramped at times but since this table takes up the bulk of my sewing room, it's as good as it gets, lol!
