No, just screw it in "hand tight" with your screw driver. I have no idea why mine came out. It never happened before. However, I was doing a major "oil and grease" job on it a couple of weeks ago, so may not have tightened it sufficiently. I'm reasonably sure it was just vibration that made it come out.
If you do need to go to a sewing machine repair place to get a replacement, just unscrew the inner wheel and take it with you to make sure the screw will fit.
