I'm not sure who the question is addressed to, but I'll give an answer anyway. Here is a link to a YouTube video that tells how to make them, although I didn't follow the instructions exactly. I make mine 2 1/2 inches before the outer stitching. I also print a backing for mine, rather than pinning a paper to them, and I don't put the cross inside, I stitch it to the outside.
