I did some research and read that it's strong thread but I wanted input into people who use it.
Rayon is actually a fairly weak thread, prone to breaking, and generally not heat-tolerant. It doesn't fare well when ironed. It is popular for machine embroidery due to the sheen, but definitely not for quilting.
