Many are from a few FQ bundles I had on hand and Kaffe fabrics that I love but never knew what to do with. Also, I often buy off the 'Fat Quarter & Short Cuts' section on the Thousands of Bolts website. For this type of work you need a small amount of many different fabrics so buying a 9" x WOF (i.e. end of bolt piece) for $1.50 works great. Give it a try!
