Helou and Julienm1- Sounds like an improv quilt. Keep going with what you’re doing and when you get tired of that, do something else, then put all the pieces on your design wall and figure out how to fit them together. I’ve learned a lot and had a lot of fun making quilts that way over the years.

It’s also the kind of project that I gravitate to when I’m having trouble making up my mind on what quilt pattern I want to do next.
