When something strikes me in a certain way, that is where I get my inspiration. I will look at my stash and try to come up with something. I don't like real complicated patterns as I feel I will never use that quilt - too much work to make it. I'm not a spring chicken anymore so just don't want to "think" too much - just sew. Right now I am making my first T-shirt quilt, enjoying that as this is going to first Grandson who is graduating this spring. I am also making making a baby quilt for a niece' baby to come in May. Found a panel in my stash and am working just going with what I think will work, using fabric that I have. Am trying to use down my stash as I would like to use part of that closet for other things. I also have some books and patterns I haven't used yet so don't have to buy more. That is my story and I'm sticking to it.
